Friday night I spent an hour at the gym, working up a sweat on the Eliptical Trainer. That is a usual occurance for me. What was unusual about my workout Friday night was that I spent the entire hour watching "Say Yes To The Dress".
I never watch those types of shows - ESPECIALLY at the gym. I don't know what happened. I was hooked! Does she buy dress #1, the one that the maid of honor hates? Does she buy the dress that exposes her cleavage, or the dress that is slightly more traditional? Does she get the floor model of a $24,000 gown for $15,000 or does she have to pick out another dress? Ugh. Hideous. OOOHHHHH. Gorgeous. Too tight. Too white. Too not pretty enough. Too gaudy.....
Oh. My. God.
To top it off, I would have STAYED on the Eliptical Trainer even longer, but Brian and I had dinner plans and I had to get home.
Who am I?
So of course I went on The Knot to search out some ideas. This is what I've come up with so far:
Dress #1: I like this because it cinches the waist, and creates a svelte silhouette. I'm leaning more towards off-white/creamy colored dresses. This dress makes me think romantic.
Dress #2: This dress is very similar to the above dress - except it has a plunging V neckline. This dress makes me think romantic as well - with a vintage twist.
Dress #3: I'm not crazy about the color of this dress, but I like the style. I like the cinched waist, and the fullness of the skirt. This dress makes me think flirty, fun, and sassy.
Dress #4: This dress is pretty similar to Dress #1 and Dress #2. I love the plunging neckline, yet I'm not crazy about the sash.
Now that I think about it, each of these dresses are a variation of one another.
*SIGH*
