Options
Oh my holy VOMIT.
*SIGH*
I'm not even sure where to begin with this one.....
I'll start here - I'm angry with myself - angry that I'm actually taking the time out of my day to give this family and situation MORE attention. I'm angry that I'm still following and reading articles that profile the trainwreck that is Jon & Kate Plus 8.
I just can't help it.
I highly DOUBT that the parents of this girl are all, "Yeah, SUUUUUUUURE, great guy!!! Please date him. You'd be a great stepmother someday to his EIGHT CHILDREN. You have our blessing."
I don't think so.
The quote that sent me over the edge was this: "I told him life is about options."
Yes, my dear life is about options. Jon opted to make the ultimate commitment and marry Kate. He opted to undergo IVF not once, but twice. He opted to have all 8 of his children. He also opted to put himself, his wife, and his children on television for the entire world to view and judge. He also opted out ..... out of the situation that he opted to create in the first place.
Yes, life is about options. And he opted to be a scumbag.
Your thoughts?

Happy Stuff
In light of all the crap that is going in the world - Michael Jackson dying, Farrah Fawcett dying, Jon & Kate separating, the piss poor economy, etc., I decided to post some cheer......
This is Brian and I at his sister's rehearsal dinner. He calls this my Dorothy dress. I call that his boring blue shirt....
This is cocktail hour at the wedding - I'm wearing the same dress I wore to my college graduation, 2 years ago.
Ok fine....college graduation .... 7 years ago, but who is counting?? The dress still fits (snugly, and with a pair of spanks) and that's all that matters...
This picture is in the midst of heavy drinking.....
Have a good one :)

P-I-G.
I completely and utterly hate this guy.
Does ANYONE out there other than myself think that this guy is a complete and utter jackass??
His girlfriend is 22. And he is 32. With 8 kids. Not to mention she is the daughter of the physician that performed Kate's tummy tuck.
Ewww. Piggy Jon. You're a dad. You have kids. EIGHT OF THEM. Clean it up. Grow up.

Time?
Moving into a new home during the summer months is tough. In between weddings, and cookouts - we seem to find ourselves at either Home Depot, Target, Loews, or the grocery store.
And we still have so much to do. I glanced out the kitchen window the other day to find Brian wielding a chain saw to the overgrown shrubs that had engulfed the front deck.....
And speaking of the deck - some of the boards are rotting....how do I know this? I know this because my heels have gone through 3 of them.
Brian: "You need to walk differently. Like...lighter."
Me: "You need to fix the boards. Nothing is wrong with my walk."
Brian: "Then don't wear skinny heels across the deck."
Me: "That's like asking me not to breath."
It will all get fixed eventually.
Still to come - pics from the rehearsal dinner and wedding.
Night.
